Kuwaiti Defense Ministry says ‘several’ American warplanes have crashed

Tehran, IRNA – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that “several” American warplanes have crashed, saying that all pilots have been rescued.

The official spokesperson of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense said that after the crash of these aircraft, necessary measures were taken to rescue the pilots.

The spokesperson added that Kuwait is coordinating and communicating with US forces on this matter and is conducting joint technical operations.

Meanwhile, a US Central Command (CENTCOM) official confirmed the downing of at least one US fighter jet in Kuwait following Iranian missile strikes, after reports emerged of US fighter jets crashing.

According to a report on Monday by The Wall Street Journal, the official confirmed that at least one American fighter jet has been shot down in Kuwait.
